We love pumpkin bread in my family. My aunt made it for Thanksgiving every year and I finally remembered to ask for her recipe so it can be a staple at every holiday feast, or just a cozy fall evening.
Ingredients:
- 1 (15 ounce) canned pumpkin puree
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cloves
Directions:
- Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 9×5-inch loaf pans.
- Mix together the dry ingredients in one bowl and mix the wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet in batches, stirring to combine.
- Pour batter into two greased bread pans and cook for 50 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean
