Oreo Truffles

This recipe is near and dear to my heart. It’s one of the first recipes I ever made when I started baking, and it’s always a hit wherever you bring them. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 36 Oreo Cookies, finely crushed, divided
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, melted

 Directions:

  1. Reserve 1/4 cup cookie crumbs. Mix cream cheese and remaining cookie crumbs until blended
  2. Shape into 48 (1-inch) balls.
  3. Place on plates (with parchment or wax paper) or a baking sheet and freeze for at least 20 minutes so they hold their shape.
  4. Once hardened, dip the balls in the melted chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered rimmed baking sheet. 
  5. Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs. Refrigerate before serving, and enjoy!
